Love.Hope.Grace

Hello friends. Its been a while since I have blogged but I really wanted to share some of the amazing things the Lord has been doing in my life. School will be done next week on wednesday for me. The thought brings a huge smile to my face and I can not wait to be finished. I will head off to Greek Summit where I will be student staffing. Then I shall return home for 2 weeks then off to Zambia. PRAISE THE LORD for his faithfulness. Im at about 55 percent with support raising which is such a blessing!

Honestly I have been so busy with school I haven't even had time to take much thought into his death. But I have noticed how people are rejoicing over his death. Only by the power of the Holy Spirit was I able to see that this was not right. I am the EXACT same as him except I have Christ. And so many nonbelievers are celebrating his death, which breaks my heart because they are headed on the same eternal path unless they accept Jesus. Let us never forget the Bible says the Lord gives breath to every creation, and He loves them. Yes we hate sin and evil but we must remember the cross and the grace that has been bestowed upon us because of Jesus Christ. Let us cling to this truth and his name be glorified above all.

Tornadoes
We all have seen the news, heard the stories, and seen pictures. But as I watched the videos I was overwhelmed by God's mighty power. I have never seen anything like it. My heart goes out to the people who lost loved ones and their homes. We don't know why God allowed this to happen but we will never fully understand his purpose.
My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts," says the LORD. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.-Isaiah 55:8
When I first heard what happened in Tuscaloosa a word popped in my head immediately. REVIVAL. The Lord has been doing some serious work on their campus this past year. When a tragedy like this hits the Lord works in so many miraculous ways. I know this is going to bring so many to the Lord. Let us be in constant prayer for:
  • The spirit to move in peoples hearts
  • People would run to Jesus who is eternal
  • Healing and restoration
  • REVIVAL
  • Above all, God be glorified
Also, let us pray for the believers in alabama and mississippi as they share the gospel. Pray for boldness and confidence in the Lord. As so many search for something throughout this time, let us be the hands and feet that show them Christ's love. One of my sweetest friends, Lissa Handley, goes to Alabama and she is such an encouragement to watch as she practices these very words.

I've found a love
My new favorite song right now is called I've found a love by bethel worship. Please read the lyrics and really think about what they are saying. All glory and honor to Him :)

When I call on your name you answer
when I I fall you are there by my side
You delivered me out of darkness
now I stand in the hope of new life

By grace I'm free
You've rescued me
All I am is yours

I've found a love a love greater than life itself
I've found a hope stronger and nothing compares
I once was lost now I'm alive in you

You're my God and my firm foundation
It is you whom I'll trust at all times
I give glory and praise, adoration
To my Saviour who's seated on high
